These include having to enjoy the benefits of the terpenes and the flavonoids that give your wax and your herbs its unique taste and aroma as well as all the healthy trichomes that further accentuate the features of your ground botanicals. Presets 3 and 4, on the other hand, give you a great deal of balance when it comes to achieving the ideal blend of flavor ad potency. Finally, cranking the settings up the highest level, at Preset 5 and Preset 6, gives you the benefits of the psychoactive compounds in your materials. We honestly loved staying at around presets 3 and 4 which gave us our kind of vapor quality.

This level of customization appeals to beginners and novices because it allows them to familiarize themselves with the effects of different temperature levels without having to undergo a steep learning curve. To say that the Flowermate V5.0Xis complicated is an overstatement as it allows beginners to easily wield the Flowermate V5.0X pretty much like a pro – it’s even easier if you’ve used some kind of vaporizer before because the familiarity of just selecting presets is easier that actually having to adjust the temperature level yourself. That said, if you’re looking to get the Flowermate V5.0X as your first vaporizer, you’re going to be in for a treat because of the combination of personalization and ease of use it offers. However, if you’re an advanced consumer, you might find yourself wanting more.

The Flowermate V5.0X is outfitted with a 2600mAh battery that allows you to squeeze in more than just a few decent sessions on-the-go. During our time testing the Flowermate V5.0X, we were able to squeeze in 3 hours of use, and that’s a lot even when compared to some of today’s more powerful vaporizers, eRigs included. This gives you more than the usual sessions making the Flowermate V5.0X last for more than a whole day of vaping. This makes the Flowermate V5.0X perfect for both beginners who are still used to short sessions with smaller doses of their select materials. In the same way, the Flowermate V5.0X’s beefy battery can even satisfy heavy consumers who may find that they would only have to recharge the Flowermate V5.0X once, and that’s if you’ve been going on group sessions and passing the Flowermate V5.0X around. That said, on average use, the Flowermate V5.0X will still leave you some power to recharge other devices, like smaller vaporizers you might be using for oils or for e-liquids. The Flowermate V5.0X’s battery does more than just give you the power that you need so having it when you’re out and about might come in handy.

On that note, having a relatively large battery that doubles as a power bank has some of its downsides. As we’ve mentioned earlier, the battery of the Flowermate V5.0X takes an average of 170 minutes to reach full charge or at the very least, less than 3 hours. If you’re the kind who can’t afford to sit down and wait for your battery to charge for a couple of hours, you might find that you can’t maximize the Flowermate V5.0X’s increased battery capacity. And if you’re hoping you can use it at least while it’s charging, the Flowermate V5.0X does not offer pass-through use which in our opinion is quite the bummer. The batteries are also integrated or built-in on the unit so you pretty much have no choice than to stick with it while it’s juicing up.

With that said, the key to getting the best out of the Flowermate V5.0X’s 2600mAh battery is making sure to plan your sessions ahead of time. Having to fully charge your batteries before you head out is key to making the most out of it if you can’t wait for several hours for it to recharge on-the-go.

Built Tough

Speaking of on-the-go use, the Flowermate V5.0X makes for a great on-the-go vaporizer not only because of its superior battery capacity but also because of how well the Flowermate V5.0X is built. The Flowermate V5.0X uses some of the best materials not only to give you impeccable vapor production but also to make it so that you do not have to always watch out where you put or how you use the Flowermate V5.0X. First is the borosilicate glass mouthpiece used in the Flowermate V5.0X. Not only does its inert properties make it a great component that preserves the quality of your vapors but also because it can withstand extreme temperature levels. That said, no matter how hard you use the Flowermate V5.0X, you can expect the actual mouthpiece to keep up with the entirety of the unit. In the same way, the hard anodized aluminum body makes for a great piece to carry around when you’re out and about. That’s because aluminum is both durable and lightweight and the addition of the process of anodization all the more makes the exterior layer of the aluminum used in the Flowermate V5.0X more capable of withstanding the toils of wear and tear. So, for as long as you can find time to recharhe your batteries before heading out and if you can make do with the limited amount of customization the Flowermate V5.0X has to offer, then you will find that the Flowermate V5.0X might actually be worth investing in.
